Intel’s mobile gaming platform to inject $ 3,000,000 OpenFeint

The total investment sum amounts to 300 million U.S. dollars. Earlier this year, OpenFeint has obtained Ninetowns $ 5,000,000 investment. “We believe that online games are on the phone one of the fastest growing business areas.” Lambert said, “We can provide them Intel’s microprocessors.”
This investment once again that the mobile phone market is rapidly becoming the most popular gaming device. Earlier this month, the Japanese social gaming company DeNA to 400 million U.S. dollars to buy the iPhone game developer Ngmoco.
OpenFeint game platform allows players to add friends, challenge each other to compare scores of high and low, and even chat during the game. The company said it currently has 45 million mobile gamers in the use of its services, the number of approximately 3,400 gaming platforms, including the popular game “Fruit Ninja” (Fruit Ninja) and so on.
